Three wooden baskets filled with fabricated excrement painted in metallic colours are situated on a black table, in an investigation of the sacred and profane. Derived from the belief that gold might be found in the basest of materials, (the foundation of alchemy), the work alludes to the powerful transformations inherent in ritualistic practice.
